Importing access data from word

I use an access database, to which i connected a new workgroup file. This
works just fine, giving some of the persons in the organization read-only
access and just those who need it possibility to change data and design. Here
comes the problem:
When i try to use data from access in a word fil, for instance to print
labels, the database cannot be opened. I am told that i am not allowed to see
those data. My best guess is, that when opening the database from word, the
correct workgroup file is not located. However i can not see any place where
i can change the workgroupfile in Word.

I have found greater success in a secure mdb, doing the merge from within
Access, since you already are authenticated in the session.

If you want to pursue your approach, I think you have to make the secure
workgroup the default.

I think you have to write VBA code inside Word to open a secured Access
database. I know it's possible from within Excel. But you need knowledge of
VBA.
