important and dangerous key(s) those slow down the computer

Martin Willy

those adwares/spywares can not be detected byGiant
antispyware, and i thought to buy$ it, but i dont know,
because i downloaded a trial version of Panda Internet
Security Beta 2006 on my computer, and changed settings
to scan with hesuteric and Updated, and it found all
those 4 adwares/spywares on my computer, and it
deleted/blocked those, but Giant antispyware none
detected. You should also download a trial Panda Internet
Security and then you will see that it will found on your
computer also "Unknown" spywares and adwares, download
it, and try to make like them, to fight block all types
of adwares- spywares
Thanks for me, email me back about this problem at:
(e-mail address removed) Please send updates so also
Giant can detect and block those Windows registry key

Please submit a Tools, Suspected spyware report with this kind of
information--that'll help get the product up to where we all want it to be.

Be careful if you run any local ftp servers though. The last time I ran the
trial it detected it as a trojan horse and deleted it without asking. Talk
about a false positive. It was a legit copy of serv-u ftp server downloaded
from the manufacturers website just so you know. I had to reinstall serv-u
ftp server once panda internet security was removed from my computer.

Serv-u is very popular among the hacker community, so I'm afraid it is going
to be targetted by the anti-spyware/antivirus apps. This was a false
positive, but not one that is easily distinguished, I suspect.

Panda Internet Security was the _only_ application to make this false
positive. Zone Alarm w/ Antivirus, Norton Internet Security, Norton
Antivirus (Retail and Corporate), Microsoft AntiSpyware, Adaware SE, and
Spybot Search and Destroy did not pick it up as a trojan. If anything it
should of been asking if the program was legitimately installed as it was in
my case.

Microsoft Antispyware detects some legitimate, off the shelf software. VNC
and variants, some parental-control software which includes keyloggers,
other remote control or administrative software. The default choice for
some of these may well be remove, given the risk of having such software in
place if the owner of the machine is not aware of that fact.

It's an important service, I believe, to bring such software to the
attention of the user of the machine. The user can then make an informed
decision about the disposition. It is unfortunate if such things are found
first on a scheduled scan and deleted without interaction--I would always
recommend an initial manual scan with any installation.
