"Implements" error on start up

I recently started getting an error message every time I start up my computer
that says... "Implements the NT service that starts the server has
encountered a problem and needs to close." This is in a "Please tell
Microsoft about the problem" box.
One of the errors listed appears to be related to my Canon Mulitpass printer
"mpservic.exe.mdmp", the other I don't know "appcompat.txt." My printer is
also no longer working and I've tried reloading the software twice.
Any ideas? Thanks a million!!

They're both related.. Read appcompat.txt and it may tell you why there
was a compatibility issue. Look for updated drivers at the Canon site.

Joe,
Although I had reloaded the software suite twice from the CD, this set me on
the correct path of loading it totally from the web site! It worked!! I have
a printer again!! Thanks so much! :)
