immediate kiosk playback of updated file

I have a slide show playing in kiosk format on a networked PC.

I can update the slide show from any computer on the network while the slide
show is playing. But how do I get the modified version to play once I hit
"save"?

If you have a set of shows running with a "master" calling up "slave"
presentations, then if you update the "slave" presentation, the next time
the "master" calls it up, it will just re-read the slave file. Hence it will
show the most up to date version.

To set things up as a master (presentation) and slave (sub presentations)

This was SO helpful - thank you. Once I changed the slideshow to run by
presenter (full-screen) and made the transitions automatic after some number
of seconds, it is working perfectly. I thought I was going to have to have at
least 2 slave presentations, but this works with only 1 presentation, too.

Cool - glad it worked for you.

I think I'm guilty of assuming that most presentations are set to
"presenter" mode.
