Imbedded eMail link restrictions

When I click on a link [imbedded in a received eMail] I get an error saying
the operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. The message says to contact my sys admin. This is a stand alone
home computer [i.e., no administrator]. This problem just cropped up
yesterday and I can't figure out how to allow the links to process correction

Saw this posting in another thread; worked like a hot darn for me.

-Try this: open IE and click Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Reset Web
Settings.

That didn't work for me because on the Programs tab there wasn't a "Reset
Web" option. I had to go to the Advanced tab where there was an option for
that. Just FYI.

You're using IE7. The reset function in IE7 is much more extensive than the
one in IE6 and I'm not sure its suitable for correctling link restrictions.
You may not like all that it resets.
