Computer restricting me from linking to Internet from email

When clicking on link in email (from Microsoft Outlook 2007) I get a message
that reads "This operation is cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact your system administrator. How do I reset the
computer to allow this operation?

Audian,
I have the same problem and would also like a solution. This happens
when you do not have IE selected as your default browser. (I suspect you are
using Mozilla or Opera or may not have a default selected.) To make IE your
default browser open IE, go to tools and then programs. On that page is a
box for making IE default.
If anyone know how to get outlook to not block file links with Mozilla
as default browser, I would appreciate knowing.
