imapi cd burning rom

Hello everybody i am having a problem with my burning software in windows xp
home with sp2 when i try to send software to my dvd burner i get a message
say windows encountered a problem and wont allow the file to get transfered
to my burner for burning i have trying dragging but that doesnt work either i
get the same error message i have a liteon 16x dvdrw i went to windows
services and the imapi is started

Right click the CD in My Computer click Properties/Recording Uncheck "Enable CD recording on this drive." Restart Windows, and
recheck it, Apply again.

The inbuilt IMAPI CD burning does not support DVD burners at all. You
will need a third party package, like Nero or Easy CD Creator
