I'm not happy.

You can help people without any title and if you need a title to help, you
are not helping.

You meant to say that you didn't get any *monetary* rewards, but other than
that, even feeling good among other forms of psychological return is
*something* motivated people to *help*.

And you don't appear to be able to "Feel Good" about it without some
silly designator to prove something to yourself. There are many people
that are not MVP's that know much more than MVP's - you should be happy
that you can help others and not focus on your selfish desires.
Besides, these newsgroups and MVP program will help the company to promote
products and generate long-term sales by resolving user issues, though this
is an legitimate and well-planned approach, but please don't portrait
yourself or any MVPs as Mother Teresa.

Again, you're showing that you don't have the attitude to be an MVP or
much else in the way of a helper. You're in it for the BENEFIT, the rest
of us are in it to give back to the community.

As for helping promote products, even non-MVP's help promote products
they feel are worthy of being promoted. A MVP will not promote something
they feel is a bad solution. You're reaching in this area, almost every
product related to computers has a group in Usenet where they are
supported - maybe you didn't understand that.

What are my selfish desires?

You simply don't understand that feeling happy (self-gratification) is a
form of self-desire or because you have no courage to face your inner?

Understand your true motivation will help you to do a better work, just in
case you don't know that.

Again, I am not saying that it is not good, just don't pretend that you
don't get anything from helping others.

Amazing. Where did you get the idea for that I am interested in an MVP?
Are you speaking for yourself?

I do appreciate, and have always been, people who are willing to help
others, except those who could actually get some tangible benefits but
reluctant to admit it.

What you appear don't understand is the objectivity. A person who has no
association with any product provider will have a higher level of
objectivity than those associated with the product provider in one way or
the other.

Again, helping sell products is nothing to be ashamed of but just don't play
the saint game.

PS: Are we talking about Usenet groups or MVP program? Seems to me that you
cannot distinguish the difference?

I understand one thing only. The person who will ever talk about MVP
Certification will always be criticize. Maybe all of you are thinking
that I am doing this only for certification and there was no personal
intention either of learning and helping. Ok! If that I get after my
contribution, no problem. I will still be in race and one day I will
get it. Doesn't matter what you people think of me. But from tomorrow
onwards I invite all of you that please take a look at my profile.
Something has changed.

You appear to desire to be an MVP, but you don't appear to act like one
in most aspects.

Ah, but I do, and you appear to miss the idea that giving back to the
community is not about "Self-Gratification", it's about paying back out
of a sense of duty and respect.
Understand your true motivation will help you to do a better work, just in
case you don't know that.

Not really, while it can help, it has no direct impact.
Again, I am not saying that it is not good, just don't pretend that you
don't get anything from helping others.

I've never suggested that I don't get something from helping others.
Amazing. Where did you get the idea for that I am interested in an MVP?

Your posts indicate you want to be one and don't understand what an MVP
is.

LOL - So, there are no ethical people that you know of?

Many people take benefit from many things, and yet they can still remain
110% unbiased about their views and opinions - yes, it's hard to find
them, but they are there now.
Again, helping sell products is nothing to be ashamed of but just don't play
the saint game.

You seem to be under the impression that MVP's are helping to sell MS
products, which is not their function. Maybe you should read the MVP
site about WHY MVP status is awarded.
PS: Are we talking about Usenet groups or MVP program? Seems to me that you
cannot distinguish the difference?

Nope, I've got it down, you appear to be confused about a lot of things.

I can assure you that you will *never* be a MS MVP.

LOL - It doesn't matter what your profile says, shows, is, all that
matters is how you act in the groups and the quality of the help you
provide to others without expecting anything in return.
