I'm looking for a third party 'thermometer' control.

I have a small display project that managment would like to add a
'thermometer' graphic to, like you might see on a fund raising drive
sign at church. So far the only component I can find is part of a suit
that sells for $600. They're not going to go for that, nor will they
permit me the time to develop my own control.

So, does anyone know of a company that makes such a component? Failing
that, is there any way to re-orient the progress meter to run up and
down rather than left to right? I do not see a property that would
cover that.

Darn, I forgot my favorite "low-cost" control set. Take a look at:
http://www.mooseworkssoftware.com/, too.

It's really pretty easy to do yourself...

Create a white picture box. Then in it's paint event paint a red
rectangle of the appropriate height according to your percentage
complete or whatever. It should take you 5 minutes at most? And good
fun too!

You learn far more by doing it yourself than using a prebuilt control. :)
