IIS

Hi,

I have installed Internet Information Services on my XP Pro but the browser
doesn't show the default start page - in fact it shows nothing. Is there
something I have to do to get IIS started?

Many thanks,

Jim

Hi,

The default page, or http://127.0.0.1, has to have an index.xxx or
default.xxx page in the IIS directory.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for your reply. I eventually got it running by uninstalling and then
re-installing IIS.

Cheers,

Jim

If you don't have one there is a default start page
(localstart.asp?) that appears. He shouldn't get *nothing*,
I think.

Cliff
