If Linux is so Bad, Why is Microsoft so Interested?

A

Adam Albright

Absolutely! I'm not saying it hasn't been circumvented. MS shot themselves
in the foot with the OEM activation routine. However, people that WANT to
be legal and where sold illegal licenses do eventually find out and seek to
become legal. That's one example.

More "wisdom" from the brain trust Justin.

Lets see according to Justin people that obtain an illegal copy of
Vista on their own will have guilt pains and turn around and get a
legal license. If they got defrauded naturally they will automatically
just kiss that money good-bye and gladly pay again to attempt to get a
legal license just to stay in the good graces of Microsoft. Sure kid,
whatever you say.

Lean something from Justin? Normal conversation?

Yea sure, mimic Justin and learn how to:

1. be stubborn, pigheaded and obnoxious
2. never admit you're wrong, no matter what
3. lie, fib, stretch the truth, take things out of context
4. spread rumors, act superior, fly off the handle
5. make up stories, change your stories, deny you said things
6. have temper tantrums non stop
7. claim to be all knowing
8. show hatred, bias, bigotry and make racial slurs
9. call people stupid, fake trying to pass yourself off as smarter

You mean like this?

Here's adam all
summed up:
AA: Geez, you kiddies are so gullible. Colin is trying to pull the oldest
trick in the newsgroup book. After getting his ass kicked, he now fakes
his feelings were hurt and threatens to leave hoping enough dopes will beg
him to stay thus giving a instant boost to his bloated ego. Same (always
happens after THEIR ass was also kicked) like the morons that just have to
announce they "plonked" somebody or put somebody in a kill file and all
the other juvenile things seen here and in countless other newsgroups. If
you can't hold up your end of the discussion...yes, leave before you make
a fool of youself. That is good advice regardless which newsgroup.

AA: ... you talk TOO MUCH, yet you never really say anything.

AA: So you also admit to breaking speed limits and you're a reckless
driver. What other dumb things you do besides waste time in this
newsgroup?

AA: You get impressed over a OS that has next to zero support for
professional grade software but you rave about a spinning cube that oh
wow, allows you to click on to switch applications. Wow, I'm so impressed.
Not!

AA: Whatever, I just did the same thing. <giggle>

AA: Priceless from the dummy posting in a thread about CARS in a computer
support group. We can add hypocrite to your "talents".

AA: Sure right, anything little .... wants to say is on topic. ROTFLMAO!

AA: You make as much "sense" as ..... does. I don't equate free with bad
you clueless ninny. I mentioned GIMP in other threads many times which is
both free and professional grade. The point that zooms over the heads of
all Linux zealots, and got news for ya, those are just as bad as Windows
zealots, is Linux offers NO major vendor support. Period.

AA: You mention two browsers, oh wow, I'm impressed you got a computer up
and "running" with a OS that has spinning cube and your favorite
application is a broswer. You sure must get lots of work done fella.

AA: What the hell am I doing in this newsgroup, besides making fools of
you, .... and other trolls you mean?

AA: If you say "all the help I have needed has come from Ubuntu IRC" then
what the hell are you doing here in a Windows Vista support group except
to be trolling and trying to get a rise out of dummies like Justin? You
just hung yourself out to dry. Only fools constantly post about a Linux
application in a WINDOWS newsgroup. Hello fool. Hint: I'm interested in
Windows Vista, which duh... is what THIS newsgroup is suppose to be about.
Learning doesn't seem to be your strong suit. You seem to prefer trolling.
Take a hike troll.

AA: Its a DIRECT quote you clueless jackass. Look above at your OWN WORDS.

AA: My take, people endlessly evangelizing for Macs or Linux should be
treated as the TROLLS they are. This is a Microsoft support group for
Vista. Not some other browser, not some other operating system.

AA: For idiots, and nobody kid yourself, idiots is what they are to
constantly nag people that already are Windows users, many who have
already purchased Vista or likely will at some point is beyond being rude.
There is no need to be subjected to constant nagging about how product X
is so much better. Doing so day after day like a few clods do is the
equivalent of shouting fire in a theater.

AA: There are rules of conduct and these morons are clearly out of order.
They are deliberately with hostile intention trying to distrup this
newsgroup and should be shown the contempt they so richly deserve.

AA: You just confirmed what I experienced years ago with seven different
flavors of Linux. Basically Linux is a toy for wannabe geeks that like to
pretend they are experts and constantly "play" with their computer.

AA: Linux versions often aren't stable, they often have more issues then
Windows. There is little worthwhile support for any flavor. Finding device
drivers is at times next to impossible, if you do find them they often
don't work correctly. The software mostly is Mickey Mouse grade. Nothing
to interest any serious users. Which is why NO major software house
develops for that platform. Never have and likely never will.

AA: With apologizes to General Mills, "Silly rabbit, Trix is for kids".
Well Linux is for kids too. Kids that do little if anything beyond simply
installing Linux and love playing with a few crude, overly simplistic next
to useless non professional grade applications that are up to what you
could find on Windows 95 over a decade ago.

AA: You want to get serious work done with your computer, Windows is the
only viable answer if you don't want some overpriced toy like computer
like a Mac. That explains why Windows has over 90% of the PC market.

AA: Just Windows being as dumb as a stump again. The ASF file format
which was developed by Microsoft (figures) stands for Advanced Streaming
Format. Curious any REAL video camera would use it as a native format as
it is highly compressed and destroys video quality, so I'm going to guess
and say you're talking about something other than a video camera $$$$ and
are actually talking about a web cam of some sort. Right?

AA: Professional grade software isn't given away free. <wink>

AA: You're trying to tell us you got a "fleet" price buying ONE car? The
"invoice" price isn't what the dealer pays. Dealers get all kinds of
incentives from the manufacturer that lowers his net wholesale price. The
so-called invoice price is just another marketing gimic to dupe people
like you that don't know any better. It isn't close to what the dealer
actually pays. His cost is much less. Translation: You were taken. You
really babble a lot of nonsense. You're thinking the dealer you trade the
car in at isn't going to give the trade-in a good going over and reduce
the price he'll give you if you blew a transmission, the car needs break
work or whatever? For your further education if you trade in a car the
salesman is sizing you up and will decrease the value of the trade in
perportion to what he "gives" you as a "deal" on the price of the new car
to end up with the profit he figures you as the pigeon is willing to pay.
You even wonder why those that sell cars in America are called DEALERS?
Duh!

AA: I bet you really believe when the salesmen walks away and tells you
he's got to check with his manager if can lower the price the couple
hundred bucks you think you were smart enough to 'talk him down' to is
really doing that. Actually he's probably bragging to another salesman at
the coffee machine saying, hey a got a real dumb kid that's all hot and
bothered to pay $1,200 more for the same make and model I just sold this
morning. LOL!

AA: Lets be truthful. It isn't Windows programmers, rather the
programmers of Windows (Microsoft) that has caused end users endless grief
from the beginning. The reasons are simple.

AA: Windows is bloated. Far in excess of what it needs to be. Proof of
that is look at any other OS, like the Mac platform or Linux and check
both the size of a typical install and the number of files that get
installed by default. Windows Vista has tens of thousands of "system"
files. From a programer's point of view, that's insanity and anybody that
tries to tell you different doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

AA: Actaully, you have proved youself beyond any reasonable doubt to be a
fu..ing idiot. Thanks for playing.

AA: That's got to be one of the more goofy comments on a plasma tv I've
seen yet. I'm guessing you don't have a plasma tv. I do. A 50 inch wide
screen Panasonic. Your comments are loney for a variety of reasons, the
most garing is at the present time much of the programming is still not HD
and remains 4:3 ratio so a picture that fills the screen is the exception,
not the rule. Regardless if you set your system up to have true 16:9 or
something else to slightly distort the picture you still will see black
bars on the sides when viewing a 4:3 broadcast. So unless you limit
yourself to only viewing HD which I anyone would do, your comments are
dismissed as silly.

AA: As far as wearing out the inner pixels that too is foolishness. The
rated life of your typical HD plasma or LCD is 20 years. Few people keep
their tv's much beyond 10 years. If you knew anything about electronics
you would also understand that voltage is applied to the entire panel as
long as the tv is turned on. The life of indvidual pixels is not
determined by which gets used the most.

AA: I keep wondering how in the hell you got to be a MVP.

AA: Since when do trolls deserve respect? You reap what you sow. You have
no intention of helping on the topic of Vista and you are here only to
distrupt with your endless Linux garbage nobody is interested in. Those
are the facts. Its the bed YOU made, now sleep in it. If the truth is too
painful you, let us know.

AA: You keep amazing us with your total lack of knowledge on a wide range
of topics. Do you have some need to try to fake it just to try to impress
people with what you DON'T know?

AA: you're really a funny character. EVERYONE (but you) knows the faster
you drive the MORE fuel you'll use. It therefore will cost you more in
fuel burned driving at 95 MPH then it would at 60 MPH.

AA: You confuse a factual authorative writing style with the usual drivel
that so many write.

AA: I rest my case.

AA: I suppose you are dumb enough to think your endless whining about
trying Linux isn't insulting people or disruptive.

AA: I bet you wear a glove of garlic around your neck so your don't catch
a cold. I'm not going to waste my time "debating" somebody that doesn't
have a clue. Believe what you want. Ignorance is bliss.

AA: You know you can get treatment for projecting, a mental disorder.

AA: I know WAY MORE then you do on countless topics.

AA: I know what you posted. So does Google. Was I suppose to be impressed?

AA: Again you prove to be a total moron. You obviously don't know how to
use Google either. Do you wipe your own rear end?

This is my favorite!!!:
AA: I know WAY MORE then you do on countless topics.

It paints a perfect picture as to how much of a piece of crap adam truly is.
Also note this compilation was created a while ago (by someone else) and at
the time was a SMALL compilation. There's anywhere from 10-15 times more of
this garbage from him in this NG alone. I'd search all NGs for his name +
obscenities but even Google's server clusters mostly likely couldn't handle
such a task.

10. label everybody that don't agree with you a troll

Stephan doesn't agree with me some times and I've never called him a troll.
Why? Because unlike you, he isn't one.

Try again wuttle baby adum.
