ieee1394 problem

I recently bought an hdv camera,Sony HVR V1P but the computer fails to
detect it,oops sorry it detects it but fails to show in the Matrox
capture window or even in the Adobe Premiere 6.0 capture window box.
The device manager shows "Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394
Host Controller". Just a day before I had connectd Sony Z1P and
everything worked well. What could the problem be?

Intel Pentium 1.7 GHz
Matrox Rt2000
Adobe Premiere 6.0
Windows 2000

Thier is a download for 1394 hardware,try downloads page,type:Windows xp
Also,update the boards chipset drivers....
