IEEE 1394 CardBus Recognition Problems

I use a T30 Thinkpad and when I install the IEEE 1394
Card into the slot, the laptop sees the card as a
networking card rather than a firewire connection.
Anyone with any ideas on a fix?

It should be identified as BOTH a IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controller and a 1394
Net Adapter

If you are not using firewire to network, you may wish to right click and
disable the 1394 Adapter under Network Adapters.
