IE6 window size problems

I have my "Launch IE Browser Properties" set to maximize
the window whenever I open IE (Run: Maximized). When I
open IE directly from a shortcut, it opens maximized.
However, when I open a link in a new IE window using
the "open in new window" function, it opens in "normal
window" size. This is strange because I had never
experienced this behaviour. It always openned all new
windows maximized. I've tried to manually maximize them,
but it wont keep the last window size. It always opens
new windows in "normal window" size. I've installed some
hardware and software updates recently. Can this be the
cause of it? How can I fix this behaviour? I hate to have
to maximize all new windows manualy whenever I "open in
new window". It's so frustrating...

Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize)
Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the
size next time.
