Running Win XP Professional and
IE v6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633
I have an application that downloads a WiseInstall exe
file from an Oracle database and then runs the exe.
Before my IE 6 SP2 upgrade the exe would run with no user
interaction. Now, when the application runs the exe I am
prompted with an IE file download window that
states: "Some files can harm your computer. If the file
information below looks suspicious, or you do not fully
trust the source, do not open or save this file." The
choices are open, cancel or more information (Save button
is disabled). Is there any setting I can change so this
window no longer opens and the exe just runs?
