Can someone tell me why each time I change the font size to my desired size
and close IE ... the next time I start up the settings have reverted to a
MEDIUM size text even though I've set it to SMALLEST ?? Thanks

From Alan Edwards:

If View-Text Size does not stick....

---solution 1
If you are using Eudora 4.2 or greater then use Tools-Options-Viewing
Mail and uncheck "Use Microsoft's viewer"
It is Eudora that is setting the IE text size and unchecking that
option will stop it.

The key that Eudora 4.x will change is this:
[HKEY_USERS\.Default\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\International\Scripts\3]
"IEFontSize"=hex:02,00,00,00

---solution 2
In Outlook 2000 go to Tools/Options/Mail Format/Fonts/International
Fonts, and for each font
change the "Font Size" entry to your desired size.

Hi Joshua :)also

In addition to the information Frank provided, you might also try the
following:

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Accessibility
Check the "Ignore font sizes specified in webpage

also...

Check in IE>Tools>Internet Options>General>Accessibility
and
Control Panel>Accessibility Options>Display

For normal viewing nothing should be checked in these sections. Also check
the setting in Control Panel>Accessibility Options>Display is set to Windows
Standard

Hope this helps :)

What does that have to do with my original question about internet explorer
and outlook? Anyway, its cool .. I've dumped both outlook and IE6 -- they
are completely not worth using anymore. Maybe when Microsoft actually puts
out a product worth using I'll switch back. Netscape seems the way to go.
I've never experienced and problems like this with them.
