IE6 Homepage

R

Richard Speiss

My brother is having a strange problem on his computer. He is running XP
Home and his IE6 home page keeps resetting itself to an old home page. The
page is not a typical hijack type of page, it is just an old one that he
used to use. He changes it and a few days later it goes back to his
previous one.

I've tried running AdAware, SpytBot Search & Destory, CWShredder, cleaning
out his restore points, etc. but it has come back again.

It really doesn't sound like a hijacking, but why would IE6 keeps keep going
back to an old home page?

Thanks

And to keep from having to manually edit the registry to unlock your

Hope this helps :)
