IE6 Homepage

Can someone help? When I launch the homepage it automatically goes to an msn
page
http://search.msn.co.uk/results.aspx?srch=105&FORM=AS5&q=Internet+Explorer.
I have never set this as my homepage, and I need to click the 'homepage'
icon to get it to go to my homepage. This is very annoying. I have had the
computer for a number of years, and it has only recently started doing this.
MSN is trying to take over my computer!

How can I stop this from happening, and make IE6 go to my chosen homepage on
launch?

Thanks.

Have you tried going into "Tools" "Internet Options" and on the general tab
of the window that opens, resetting your Homepage to the one you want it to
be? That might fix the problem. Sometimes when you download a new browser
extension, like a new toolbar from a source, it will have a check mark in a
"default" box, that automatically sets its own page as your home page. If you
look at the download carefully when installing these, you may see a list of
things it is installing. I often find a box that is Prechecked that would set
that program as your homepage. So, try going into Internet Options and on the
gerneral tab change it back.
