IE6 HighJacked to Porn site

Can any one please help me? Everytime I log on to IE and click on a link or try to check my email, I get sent to an Adult Porn Portal, with a download link from a site called Adultfriendfinder.com or 008k.com or sexocean/biz.com. I have tried everything that I can think of to stop this but nothing seems to work. I don't know how this got on my computer, except that a friend of mine sent me an email with a link to a totally different site which I opened, and got this site by error. Ever since then, I keep linking to this site. It only happens on IE... if I use Mozilla or AOL it doesn't happen. I am totally disgusted and Fedup.

There are two excellent resources to get rid of browser
hijackers, spyware, trojan horses, and nasty stuff in
general: One is at http://www.safer-networking.org/
[there are other sites -- the program is called "Spybot
S&D"] and the other is http://tomcoyote.com . The latter
site has the most resources, forums, etc. Both are
free. One word of caution: before messing with the
registry, make sure that you know what you are doing
and/or can undo what you did but shouldn't have done.

Go to download.com and get Spybot Search and Destroy. The
go to www.opera.com and get a moew secure browser.
