IE6 Freezes when PDF Closed

I use the latest update of Windows XP and IE6 and Acrobat
Reader 6.0 which has also been updated for the latest
releases.

Problem. When I open and view a PDF file through IE6
everything works fine until I close the PDF file
(window). IE6 then immediately freezes and must be such
down.

I recently loaded Webroot Spy Sweeper and Webroot Windows
Washer. I belive that one of these might have created the
problem. However, disabling each and attempting to open
and close PDF files makes no difference. Any suggestions
on how to solve the freeze problem without sacrificing
the Webroot products?

hardhead

completely uninstall all three, see if there's any
problems, if not reinstall acrobat first. you might have
some scumware on board.
