IE6 freezes and error message

WinXP Pro with IE6 2800 SP1. Several times per online session, IExplorer
freezes and I get the message "IExplorer has experienced a problem and needs
to close, do I wish to send an error report ?" and IE disappears losing all
that I was doing.

I have looked for the IE "repair" in Add/Remove programs (as prior versions
provided) but cannot even find IE6 listed. I do not see how I can un-install
and re-install. Any advice as to resolving this issue would be greatly
appreciated as this problem is driving me crazy !!!!

This is not so much a response as a statement that I too
am having the same problem, however, it ONLY occurs when
I access WESTLAW service. It iis VERY ANNOYING!
