Frequent IE6 crashes

WinXP Pro with IE6 2800 and SP1. Every few minutes the "IExplorer has
experienced a problem and needs to close, do I wish to send an error report"
and IE disappears losing all that I was doing.

Is there anything I can do ??? I have looked for the IE "repair" in
Add/Remove programs but cannot even find IE6 listed. Do not see how I can
delete and re-load. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, this problem
is driving me crazy !!!!

This error can also be caused by some parasites.

Remove all the parasites on your computer.
Delete all the spywares and bad BHOs from your system.
