IE6 Error, Look2Me and constant clicking

I have a few problems as you can see from the title so might as well address
them all since they may be connected.

Whenever I close an Internet Explorer6 window a message comes up that says
IEXPLORER.EXE-Application Error. It simple says to close.

I run spyware and I get Look2me it does not tell me too remove it though.
Since that may be complicated.

My computer constantly clicks, and I can hear it through the speakers. Is it
always refreshing?

Which would you recommend? I have seen the second one, but I'm afraid I'll do
it incorrectly. As for the first one I usually dislike downloading those kind
of things, because they usually bring bigger problems later on.

Not tried either, but if it were my problem I would probably set a System
Restore point and try the Major Geeks one (reputable source). If it screws
things up further you have the option of using your System Restore point.

But there are numerous others available, if you're not happy with those 2
solutions. You could read through a few some of these pages / threads to
understand what the Spyware does, and how others have solved a similar
problem first.

I'll try it out thank you for your help. I do have a weird question though.
Why does it say

It may be of interest to note that "lively_7""
There is plenty of evidence to suggest that "lively_7""

when you reply. Was just wondering out of curiosity since I had not seen
that before.

It's a randomised reply text. I was playing around with string tables a
while back, and wrote something.

A number of newsreaders give you the option of customising your reply text I
believe, if you want to change it yourself. If you reposted asking for
newsreader recommendations, you'd probably get loads of replies. It's a
popular old chestnut around here.
