ie6 does not open .mht (web archive) files correctly!

It started out of the blue, from one day to the other
I could not open saved mht web archive files anymore in
Internet Explorer 6.0. The files will open correctly in
IE6 on other computers.
Thanks in advance for your help.

You have probably just lost you file association for mht files...Right click
a *.mht file>choose 'Open With'>Pick Internet Explorer from the list>make
sure to check box to 'Always use this prog to open these file' Option before
you click OK

The file extension is associated with IE, but it opens
it like a text file or something like that, and you can
see the html code and the header says something about
MIME...

Type the following commands from RUN dialog:

regsvr32 /i mshtml
regsvr32 /i shdocvw

If that does not help, post back with details (the OS you're using)

I am experiencing the same thing. File associations are correct, anyone have a fix?
