IE6 address bar has long delay

After opening the browser and when I click on the address
bar for the first time there is a long delay - close to 15
to 20 seconds before IE loads the previously used URL's.
Till then there is a hourglass and IE seems to hang. This
happens only the first time and later on there is no
delay. Can any one tell me as to why this is happening? Is
this a problem with IE or network setting and what is the
fix for this?

Hi Vasu,

Try clearing the History using Internet Options. If this does not help, delete the History folder and index.dat:
