IE6.0/Java?

G

Guest

Occasionally, I get this message when trying to do
certain things (like start a live support chat) in IE 6.0:
You do not have Java enabled on you browser. In order to
synchronize browsers, you need to turn on Java
capabilities."

I am running Windows XP, but see nowhere in my IE Tools
menu that allows me to "enable Java." Any suggestions?

WinXP does not come with Java support.
Test Java: http://www.fitwise.com/testjava.asp
Java VM: http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers_9.htm#java2
Understand that because of a court decision Microsoft will stop all Java
support after 30 SEP 04.
