Upon opening IE the first time each day, i get a page that
shows: y.msn.com/>here When I hit "refresh" it then
goes to My MSN.

Subsequent to that first time, it always opens to my home
page. Can I fix this?

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
