IE will not allow me to change my default home page

IE6 will not allow me to change my default home page. I
have tried to change it to yahoo.com several times but
keeps defaulting to C:\windows\secure.html. Any
suggestions?

I have the same kind of problem
I have a java script that keep changing my start page to
a search page.
I ran spybot but that did not change anything
Can you help?
