Hello, IE 6.0 W2K, Tools>Internet Options>General Temp
Internet Files>settings>Temp internet files folder

This setting is set to 0. I can't increase it. I have
admin rights on pc.

Symptom is, go to website, can't download files

Error message-

IE cannot download filename.doc from websitename

IE was not able to open this Internet site. The requested
site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try
again later.

This is a chance for someone to show up my internal "help
desk". Thanks for any assistance!

Frank, thanks for the input, however, I am not running
McAfee, that option won't work. (I did run a search on
fbount.exe) I have Windows 2000 tried under run>cmd can't
find smartdrv, did a search on hd also and no luck, any
further input? This is exactly the problem I am having.

This did help me look in a direction, and it sounds like I
have to del the temp Internet folder, but it won't let
me...thanks.
