IE searching problems

dee

I have set my home page address in Internet Explorer to
the CNN website. When I start the the Internet Explorer
it goes to the CNN website, but then when I try to type a
web address to go to another page, it appears that a
search page has been attached to the homepage.

When you start up you come to the CNN homepage but when
you attempt to go to any other site, it takes you to some
search page instead of you site . In the address bar it
has this site address followed by what ever site I typed
in.

Help please!!!
