IE opens minimized on the taskbar

A group of our users have a problem when they open a browser from a
main window and it opens the new browser window on the taskbar.

This does not happen every time and the new browser is not hidden
behind the main window. When the new browser item is clicked on the
taskbar, it displays it correctly to the right size so it does not need
to be resized.

Any ideas as to why the new browser is initially opening on the
taskbar?

Hi Jasra,

Any commonality between your uses with the problem (Windows version, Added
toolbars?) If you are using tabbed browsing with the MSN search toolbar then
reset the toolbar layout.

Also check the shortcuts to launch IE. In the Properties dialog there is an
option to Run, which should be in a normal window.
