IE on the Guest account

Hi,

Ok, I've got a good one that's gotten me stumped. On my wife's PC
that's running WinXP Home edition (with all the updates), whenever
anyone logs onto her PC using the guest account IE won't work properly.
All it does when you double click the icon is it opens the window for a
couple of seconds and closes right away. Any suggestions?

I've already cleared the history, cookies, stored passwords and that
hasn't helped. Funny thing is if I set the default page to blank, IE
stays open for a while until you type in a web address, then it closes.
