AT VARIOUS TIMES (MANY TIMES IN A DAY) IE BECOMES UNRESPONSIVE WHEN TRYING TO
CHANGE WEB PAGES. IT WILL LOAD TO THE HOME PAGE BUT THAT'S ABOUT IT.
I'VE PERFORMED EVERY UPDATE POSSIBLE, VIRUS SCAN & SCAN DISK.

Your caps lock is on - no doubt in error - in newsgroups a post in caps is
considered as shouting(rude)and will be ignored by some. I believe you have
posted via the web interface discussion groups.
What about error reports or event viewer - could give vital info.
Are you XP SP2, which IE - may sound obvious but helps confirm likely
solutions.
You may like to look through the below link to see if you can spot your
problem-

Similar problem but with Adobe Acrobat plugin:
sometimes inctances of IE6.0 become blocked when
downloading pdf.
Standalone Acrobat do not start after this too until IE is killed.
Aborting an IE instance closes every other one.

Any remedies? (Or any suggestions how to abort just
a dead IE copy, not all other?)
