IE Icon not coming up.

I'm haveing a problem where when i view HTML pages in my
folder, the icon is that "don't recognize application"
icon that exists. It should be the IE HTML icon that is
there, or at least some sort of HTML editing icon
(Dreamweaver, GoLive).

I've gone into my "Folder Options" to see if I just need
to reactivate the icon, but it doesn't work.

How do I get the IE HTML icon to come back?

thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe,

See if this helps:

Locate an .html file that is not showing the proper icon, right click and
select Open/Choose Program. Browse to the C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer folder and select the file iexplore.exe and click Open and then on
the Open With screen, click OK.

Ya, i've done that. I've gone to Folder Options in
Windows and it seems like it does recognize that IE is
what is supposed to be used for opening HTML documents.
But, the icon isn't there! Do I need to download the
icon? Don't know what's going on.
