IE: History not totally cleared

A

Ano

Everyone!
On XP, when I try to clear the IE page history, there is
ALWAYS one link on one certain web page that remains red
as if I had visited the page. This is only on my own PC,
on other computers this is not so, so there is no problem
on the page itself.

I cannot find a IE History folder like in NT where you can
see a list of visited sites and pages.

Anyone?

Hi,

Try clearing Recent Documents. Sounds odd, I know.

Temp Files: IE/Tools/Internet Options/Delete Temporary Internet Files
Temp Files: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp & TIF
Cookies: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Cookies
History: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\History

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
Run dialog box
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU
Documents menu
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RecentDocs
Common dialog boxes
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\LastVisited
