IE has taken over my computer

i am having a huge problem. Everytime I try to open, my
documents, my computer, my recycle bin and other stuff. I
get an internet explorere error message. It says "Explorer
has caused an error in VX2.DLL. Explorer will now close"
Even though I don't have explorer running. I searched for a
virus and nothing. I tried to uninstall my IE, but one of
the programs effected is that one too. I tried reinstalling
IE, but I keep getting a messgae saying that it could not
install all compents, please close all applications. any
ideas, how I can get this to stop?

VX2 - Transponder spyware!

First, enable IE functionality by disabling third-party browser extensions in Internet Explorer:

1. Click Start, Run, type Control Inetcpl.cpl
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Under Browsing, clear the Enable third-party browser extensions
(requires restart) check box.
4. Restart Internet Explorer.
