IE Hang

[Novice Techie]

Periodically IE browser sessions initiated from a link either in outlook or
from a web page hang and only close by killing the process. I have scanned
for all viruses and spyware, etc. It doesn't happen all the time, but
frequently and generally requires a re-boot to stop from re-occuring for a
short time. Only occurs on subsequent instances of IE not the first
instance, although they all shut down when forced.

I am running XP (SP2) and all current patches and security updates are in
place.

Any suggestions, I can't find anything in the KB.

I too am having the same exact problem, I must send 3-4 reports to Microsoft
each time I'm on line lately. This is something new, it just started
happening about a week or two ago, I run Windows XP and all my updates are
current. I've run my antivirus scanner and it doesn't pick up anything .
Anyone out there with any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated, its
really getting to be annoying!!!
