IE error Page Can Not Be Displayed, then page fault error

OK, I was using IE no problem one minute and then I was
prompted for a Windows update. After doing the windows
update every time I open IE it says very quickly Page Can
Not Be Displayed (actually the first time it will pretend
to be loading my homepage but after that the error screen
immediately pops up). I cannot view any webpage. I tried
reloading IE but it didn't work. And I tried reloading my
Comcast software for my broadband and it kept telling me
that I was not connected to the internet. I know this to
be false because my WinMX works and my WSFTP works as well
as anything else that connects without using IE. After a
few hours of IE not working, my Outlook Express (which
worked) started saying that its connection had been
terminated at startup. Then once every 10 minutes or so
I'll get a blue screen telling me windows has been shut
down and PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and once or twice it
said DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. If this is a virus
(as I suspect) I cannot access the internet to download
the patch to get rid of it. Help!! Thanks.

I already have Adaware on my computer - it says it's
clean. So does Norton Antivirus. I also have ZoneAlarm.
