IE encountering problems

I am experiencing frequent error messages, Internet
Explorer has encountered a problem and must close. Sorry
for the inconvenience, etc. Also, receiving frequent Run
time errors. These are new problems for a fairly old
system. Please, an offer of advice.

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite)

Download, install, update and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/

[Puzzled]

I'm having the same problems. Mine began last week.
The source of problem is in the IE6 dynamic link library.
If you go to HOME on this site. Type in search IE6
problems. On the new page that opens, the 4th. entry,
addresses a similiar issue. Microsoft suggests reloading
IE6. This unfortunately maybe a short-term fix. The
problem will probably reoccur in a few days. Since its
a software problem w/IE6.
