IE Desktop Icon

After downloading and istalling all of the patches and
updates, the desktop IE Icon has disappeared. I realize
that I can shortcut from any other IE icon, but when doing
so, I miss out on the internet options.

Any help would be appreciated.

desktop tab
customize desktop button
make desired changes
