IE default browser

How do I make IE my default browswer again? Netscape has taken over and I
can't give it back to IE

Also....whenever I make a short cut to a web page it takes on the icon of
Netscape.....

Open Browser > Tools > Internet Options > Programs Tab.
Botton of screen check box IE should check to see if it
is Default Browser. apply ok close and re-open browser.
