IE connects on ethernet but not wireless

I am running two computers, one on winxp home and one on win98se that have a
linksys wireless g setup. Before upgrading the 98se computer's linksys
driver I could connect to the wireless network fine with the two computers.
After upgrading this driver and with service pack 2 on the xp computer ie
will not connect to the internet unless I hook up an ethernet cable. I have
gone back to the previous driver on the 98se computer but, while the
computers see the wireless network, they will not connect wirelessly, only
with a cable.

Hi,
Have you searched the linksys site? Searching on sp2 at
http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/linksys.cfg/php/enduser/entry.php
turned up a couple of articles.
Or, one of these MSKB articles may help:
How to troubleshoot wireless network connections in Windows XP Service Pack
2: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=870702
You cannot connect to a wireless access point with the Wi-Fi Protected
Access update installed:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=821442

Hope this helps,
Don
