IE closes when accessing some web sites

Hi all
I'm running IE 6 on XP 5.1 and have a problem with IE closing when I try to access some sites. There are no error messages - the page just starts to load then IE closes.

I have tried running Adaware and Spybot which cleaned out quite a bit of junk but the problem persists.

One site where the problem occurs is www.codan.com.au

Any suggestions for fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated.

try reinstalling java
