I have had some issues with my computer, and after a system restore the menu
bar no longer displays in IE7. Can anyone tell me how to get it to show up?

In the Command bar, click "Tools" and enable "Menu Bar".

The option isn't on by default. Click Tools>Menu Bar and you'll get the
classic Menu Toolbar.

Unfortunately the command bar doesn't offer that option. I don't even have
the "tabs" that IE7 should have.

Hello,
On the IE7 that is installed on this unit the location for "menu" is,
"View" - "Toolbar", then one option in the "Toolbar" drop down is Menu.
I suppose it maybe under a different command name with the browser using
different set-ups.
take care.

Unfortunately the command bar doesn't offer that option. I don't even have
the "tabs" that IE7 should have.

Right click ANYWHERE on the toolbar that IS displayed, then select
Menu Bar from the Popup menu.

As for tabbed browsing, have you ever heard of searching for the
answer yourself? The answer is right there, in the HELP (hmm, why
would you look there when you need HELP) index for IE:

In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet
Options.
Click the General tab, and then, in the Tabs section, click Settings.
Clear the Enable Tabbed Browsing check box.
Click OK twice.
Close Internet Explorer, and then open it again.

This is how to turn it off. Just follow those directions, but make
sure the Enable Tabbed Browsing check box is checked.

Isn't it amazing what you COULD have found out had you tried to find
it?
