ie 6 Wont Load New Window

I am looking for a simple fix to this small problem. When
I right click to open a new window or left click a link
that should open a new window, a new window opens but
nothing loads. IE seems to hang. It's only when I press
esc then right click then refresh in the new window the
page loads. Pages on a https site will not load at all.
Security settings are at SP2 default medium. It was
working fine until about 5 or 6 days ago. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.
