IE 6 vx2.dll module

Every time I try to open IE6 from anywhere be it
double-clicking the icon or going to the Programs menu or
right-clicking, it doesn't open anything. I get an error
box saying that Explorer has encountered a problem...etc.
WHen I look at the details, it says the problem is with the
vx2.dll module. Then when I go to try to open MyComputer
or MyDocumetns or the Control Panel or anything, those do
not open either. Instead I get a message saying that
Explorer has a problem and must close. The box says to
restart my computer and I do, but the problem is still
there. My IE was working two days ago!!!!! HELP ME
