After IE6 loads with the home page, and you go to another
web page, IE6 will shut down and restart unexpecdly. Error
report shays the problem occurred in TYNWOUXK.DLL. Can
this file be repaired, or where can I obtain a clean copy?

First eliminate any scumware.
See

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder
may be found on this page:

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

I renamed the .DKLL file, then had the programs that found
it "Fix" it or "Delete" and have not had a problem since.
Amazing how one program can cause so much trouble! Now if
I could only get IE6 to check for mail after initial setup
I'd be in good shape. It will check when it loads, but
times out every time thereafter unless I reload.
