IE 6 not finding DNS

C

Charley

About a week ago, I lost access to the internet.
Everything comes back : "The page cannot be displayed". I
am working on Sprint Broadband, through a SMC router,
which shares internet with my son's computer. Sprint has
checked all my settings and they are okay. They can get
to my router without a problem. My son's computer works
fine. All this leads Sprint to believe that Windows or IE
is not understanding the DNS (www.yahoo.com). I am able
to ping an IP address, but not a WWW.XXX.com address.
Can anyone help?
