Problem

1. IE gives an error message after closing. "Can not
read memory"

2. Favorites button on toolbar does not direct me to web
sites. Causes IE to lock up.

Thanks

Hi James,

Memory errors are usually caused by malware browser extensions. See if this fixes the 2nd problem also:

Download all of these utilities and scan the system.

Note: Spyware removers are rules-based and are updated very frequently as and when new malware is discovered. Therefore, update both of these tools before scanning, very important.
