IE 6 crashes when attempting to play steaming video!

Dan

IE 6 crashes when I click on a streaming video link. It
says connecting to media and then the error reporting
tool pops up and I always send an error message to
Microsoft. After the error report has been sent IE 6
shutsdown. Media Player 9 does the same thing. If the
link allows me to download the video it plays fine when I
double click on the video file. There is no error
number, it just says IE 6 encountered a problem and needs
to close. I have Norton Firewall and I adjusted the
settings according to Microsoft's recommendations for
firewalls and of course I have disabled it and attempted
to play the video and it shutsdown also. Any
suggestions, Please!

There is no error number

If the error window is the same as the one pictured in this article

<title>KB276550 - Description and Availability of Internet Explorer Error Reporting Tool</title>

then you can click on the <click here> link.

That opens another window which is not depicted by the article
but which contains a section titled Error Signature.
You can capture the text under the Error Signature by dragging
your mouse over it and pressing Ctrl-c to copy the selected text
to your Clipboard. Then you can paste it wherever you want for
documentation and further analysis.
